A lovely antique silk Kimono jacket. It's made from pure silk and the entire pattern on the outer silk has been created through a finely hand-stitched resist dyed (shibori) technique. The jacket is fully lined. A beautiful example of historic Japanese textile art. Due to the intricate nature, shibori is one of the most expensive and labor intensive ways of dying fabric.
